I just tested the psu, I did the paper clip test and the fan spins. I also tested it with a multimeter and its getting consistent voltage across the different pins eg the 3.3V pins read the same and the 12V pins read the same. Could it be mobo thats the issue? Not sure how to test that tho

Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem? This started happening last year around I think October or November. The samsung evo 4tb I have my pc crashes when a heavy load is on it. For example it will crash if I have a game running while updating or downloading something. The only fix I can find is to turn off the pc and unplug power and data on the ssd, then let it sit for maybe 2 minutes. Then it will start working again. Ssd might be 2 to 3 years old?

i dont really know. Also AMDs older APUs were sad, the 9420e has an actually decent iGPU, bottlenecked by downclocked 1866MHz LPDDR4, and 2 cores

no clue why AMD would make them only support 1866MHz DDR4, which is sad because 2133MHz gets downclocked to a non JEDEC speed

I also had an AMD FX in 2024, funny to use, but it sucked. It was usable (for my tasks at the time) however it was nothing better than something to toy with clocks
