explain more. do you mean the power cord from your house's power to your electronic devices? if yes, answer the following questions for me:

• is the device plugged directly into a wall outlet? or a power strip or an extension cord?
• if a power strip, what else is plugged in on the strip?
• if an extension cord, how logn is the cord, and is it coiled somewhere or laid out the entire length?
• what is melting, the actual device power cord, or the extension cord, or power strip?
• where is the cord melting, near the wall/strip/extension cord, or near the pc?
• when you say melting do you smell an intense distasteful chemical order (the smell of the burning insulation), is the cord discolored (ie white cord browning), or do you physically see the insulation/sheething melting off the cord (possibly exposing conductors?
• are any of the metal parts showing any signs of discoloration (typically a blackening or 'tinning' where it looks a brownish color)? metal parts could be IE: the pronds that extend from the cord into the outlet, the prongs on the pc where the cord conencts to the pc, the barrel jack in a barrel jack style plug, etc.
• does the cord have an in-line 'power brick' or is it a cable-only 2/3/4 prong cable from the power source to the device (and the device's transformers and circuitry for the power supply are internal to the device)

Could be, but also just in general. If you're running a 14 amp circuit breaker but the power strip sells that its 10 amps, half the time the main circuit will blow before the power strip.

k so turkey is 230v 50hz and if you said it's grounded thats type f which is rated for 16amp so i assume your household circuits are 15a or 20a similar to us, which puts you at over 3k watts, so you're NOT overamping the circuit. which is good

if the strip is a cheap chinese strip they could have under-rated the thickness of the cable used which would artificially limit your wattage lower than the circuit's itself, but that would show more signs of deterioration on the power cord of the strip.

additionally, they could have cheaped out on the internals and not rated each circuit to a specific amperage, and that could be causing it.

secondly, the power distribution in your neighborhood/house/etc could be "dirty" (not consistent for voltage/amperage/frequency, power factor is wildly out of sync, etc)

cheaper first solution: buy a good, higher-end strip from a name brand. look for strips with good circuit protections, and specifically ones with thicker rated cables (if its advertised in european standards, it measures the cable thickness in square mm and bigger=better in this instance, if it's advertised to american standards it's AWG and smaller AWG number = thicker)

more expensive second solution: get an ups, an ups will ensure the circuit is getting good clean power no matter what's feeeding the ups from the national grid

Electrical hissing is normal in a lot of causes. Can/US run at 60hz, meaning they do preduce some type of noise. That noise can be louder when the circuit it heavily used or there's a low quality power supply on it causing noise.
If it's poping noises or like really loud (You can hear it more then a meter away) turn off the circuit and call a electrician.

I agree with good amount, my knowledge comes from the US and Canada circuits so idk how it works in Turkey. A good rule to go by is 80% of max Wattage of your circuit. Most power strips (even ok priced once's) lie or miss lead on their amp levels.

this is specificalyl relevent to me rn with the water/steam damage in my apartment. I have a like $40 6 foot extension cord because i specifically shopped around for a name brand non chinese knockoff extension cord with a low awg that i could use to feed a space ehater (DO NOT EVER PLUG DEVICES WITH HEATIGN ELEMENTS INTO EXTENSION CORDS OR SURGE SUPRESSSORS! unless you know what you're doing you'l lstart an electrical fire or damage a bunch of electronics), and then 2-3 high end fancy power strips that are like 25-50 dollars apiece. insurance is gonan cry when i repalce it all with similar quality good stuff and not cheapo knockoffs like most people

power strips are one of the hardest thigns to find actual good well made true rated strips, even from stores you'd trust like microcenter or best buy buying in person

it's very similar to linus' rant on USB spec and good USB cables

simialr issues with pwoer strips (but less because of spec, and more because nobody cares about their power strips 😭 )

I mean, it's really hard to max out a household circuit.... I've seen it but it's rare. Most houses (again in can/us 100 to 200amps main circuit breakers. and individuel circuits go from 14 to 50amps (40-50amps is when you hit that 240V in north amarica). So it is 100% possible you may be hitting close to that circuits max and the noise is just from heavy useage + bad electrical compensates in the power trip or dirt power/power supply.

I have a streamer who's been having issues with her 4090 Strix. She's saying that sometimes closing a game causes a crash. booting into windows 10 and at getting into bios will also have this crash. If she's playing a game it sounds like a ticking timebomb waiting to go off if it'll crash or not. but if the game doesn't crash and she closes the program it'll blank screen and gpu fans ramp to 100%. She's also stated that its not the dreaded melted connector.

this furmark run is over 75 minutes solid of running no issues

They might not have Keychron, but you can get a feel for mechanical switches in general. I do not recommend anyone buy something as personal as a keyboard, mouse, or headset / headphones (or anything you use for hours a day) unless you've had a chance to try out different options in person.

If you prep your surface properly, you might get lucky. Some paints claim you don't need to prep but... IMO you'll want to at least wash the fan with "Soapy Wodder" (thanks ChrisFix - you've ruined this for me forever), then lightly scuff the surface with a Scotch Brite pad.
