I built my friends pc for unreal engine development on the 7900x at the time as it was better for him than the 7800x3d

He should have went 14900k but he didn’t want dead platform

Now he’s getting a 9950x3d so AM5 worked for him

yeah when doing development having more cores, and faster cores, can be important to a point. like if you have to do code compilation, for UE it takes like a hour or so for a clean source build on a 7600, and like 12 minutes for godot, whereas my friend with a core ultra 5 can do godot in like 6 minutes or something
