probably a mix of factors, samsung has had troubles with batteries in the past (see: galaxy note 7, they probably wanna make sure any changes are fine) and theyd have to experiment with new battery tech, which they probably feel like isnt super neccessary, 12+ hours is usually enough for most people (there will always be exceptions) so it might not be worth the extra R&D time and switching their battery production over to a newer type of battery. it could also very well be their experimenting it right now, and will be rolling it out within the next few years, noone really knows in this discord server probably.

if i power it up after a while it just does not want to and blasts the fans but if i force it off by holding the power button then turn it on again it works just fine i also had to solder a wire to the trackpad from the motherboard as the ribbon cable is semi broken
