I’ve found this deal for a Supermicro X9SRW-F LGA 2011 Server motherboard with an Intel Xeon E5-2630L and 32gb (8x4) DDR3 ram, as well as a separate deal for an Intel Xeon E5-2690 V2 for relatively cheap.
My question is, is it even worth making a server with DDR3 ram and an outdated processor, even though it’s just for Minecraft and Minecraft mod packs?

So I'm having probably the most bizzare issue I've ever had. I'm trying to update the BIOS, but if I try to boot to the BIOS while the flash drive with the update on it is plugged in, it boots to a black screen instead of BIOS. But as soon as I remove the drive and restart and boot into BIOS, the BIOS boots just fine. Windows boots normally in both circumstances. I can't update the BIOS if the BIOS won't boot with the update drive plugged in, so I genuinely have no fucking idea what I'm supposed to do here
