So I want to get something to game on from my living room, now I'm between buying a secondhand LCD Steam Deck or a Secondhand gaming laptop, I already have a pretty decent gaming PC so this would just be for when i don't wanna be in my office, because I work from home and if anyone else does that you know how hard it can be to mentally clock out from your job when you work in the same place you game so far my pros and cons list for each are:
Steam Deck:
Games decently
Easier to take on roadtrips arguably because of the form factor
Great for emulation
Cons:
Can really only game
Is less powerful but if I wanted to play something on crazy settings I'd just get on my PC
Gaming Laptop:
Can Game probably better
Can do more then just play games IE my Substance painter and Davinci stuff
Storage and ram semi-upgradeable (if prices weren't stupid)
Cons:
Not as easily portable in terms of use while in the car
Not as comfy for couch gaming

The gaming laptops I'm looking at are the Nitro 5 and an HP Victus with similar specs, but the Victus has 24Gbs of ram and its an M6500 and the HP has a 4050 in it

My budget is 500.00 or less so thats why I'm going secondhand, I've tried to do moonlight and apollo and it works okay on my android TV but isn't super reliable and I don't really want to get a console and have to rebuy my games

the problem is when i turn on the pc i get no display and the usb ports do not work, all fans/lights work as normal. i have tried switching ram/using 1 stick, switched pcie slots, resetting CMOS (by taking the battery out for a min and putting it back in) and have tried using display port, different hdmi chords, different keyboard/mice and different monitors still nothing. I am taking it to a memory express (pc shop near me) tomorrow but just seeing if i could try anything before i go, thanks. and yes i did plug the hdmi/DP into the gpu
