For the steam game Kovaak's FPS Aim Trainer, does anyone know how the chosen JSON file containing a theme is parsed into the actual game?

I am trying to make an application to change the theme based on the scenario. Finding the current scenario that is being played was p easy to get. The various themes are stored within JSON files in a theme folder, but I am not sure how the game actually updates for a specific theme to be chosen. As far as I have seen, it's at least not through file explorer.

Please let me know if you have any ideas!

in my experience, doesn't matter if I hook it to ethernet or wifi, I will have droputs in games eventually, while the ps5 can be on my medicore phone wifi and just be fine
