this is stressing me, all you need to know from a consumer perspective is that you have about 4 major parts that make a computer, that is the processing unit, the ram or memory, the storage unit/s and the graphical unit.

these all work individually but together to make everything work, the cpu is composed of a limited number of cores that all mainly do a couple of processes very fast

the graphics card does a lot of things at a slower speed, but this is necessary for graphics acceleration, this is why a cpu can't be a gpu and a gpu can't be a cpu (extremely inefficient)

I've lost count. If you buy a Retail license, you can legally move it between as many "computers" as you want, so long as you're only running it on a single computer at a time. You can even legally flip flop between say... 10 different computers in less than 1 month's time, so long as you only use Windows on ONE (1) PC at a time. People should really read the EULA's and other agreements before, you know, purchasing or agreeing to them.
