1. Well what happened to the cover was water got between the chip and cover. I removed the cover to remove water but idk it was double threaded and stripped the threads on the cover. I haven't both to get jayb weld to fix it

2. It's probably the 2 fans blowing on it. I can't remember but under a heavy old and taking my dad's temp gun the board didn't get up to I think 60°F on the bottom half below the gpu

Yeah, TBH, RAM is the biggest issue (and then GPU), which is why I was even considering prebuilt in the first place.

But for a prebuilt, the dimensions seem standard enough that future upgrades (theoretically) shouldn't be too big of a headache
