Okay so chat I have a problem, it pertains to a somewhat common problem from what I read. Before I tell you, I will list my specs.
Specs are:
MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus (Latest Bios)
Windows 11 Version 25H2
Ryzen 7 5800XT
RX 6700 10gb (Non-XT) (Latest WHQL recommended Adrenaline drivers)
32 gb of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3200MT/s
2tb P310 M.2 NVME SSD
RM750E Power supply

So I've been panicking because I just built this system and haven't found any issues at a physical hardware level but I am still having an issue where sometimes apps like discord or even chrome have this weird distorting effect when opening new tabs in chrome or even when mousing over things. I have been stressing out about it for a few days now. I have checked every thing I can think of, Reinstalled my drivers completely even though they were a clean install with a clean install of windows. Taken the pc apart and checked all connections, reseated a few cables as well to make sure it wasn't loose connections. I don't think it's my GPU dying either, I've only had it for a year and haven't heavily used it. It plays almost everything I throw at it and hasn't given me issues in games, only when I tab out of a game and go to discord or chrome. Also as a note my PSU came with a 12v 2x6 PCIE pig tail cable and a single PCIE 2x6 cable. Could that cable be the culprit or is it just a windows 11 version problem conflicting with my GPU drivers?
I should also add that I used a tiny packet Thermal paste for my CPU that came from the ThermalTake UX500 ARGB CPU Cooler that I bought and it only covered half of the IHS.
I have a new tube of thermal paste to replace it, it doesn't seem to be effecting the cpu as much but I'm seeing temps while idle going from 40 to 50c sometimes even 60c but idk if that's just the software tripping when first initializing and I don't know if the two could be connected.

My partner's computer is saying Ethernet isn't connected / IP says it's only for a local network... this issue includes constant flashing of the Ethernet symbol, then to the Globe(?) symbol, at least I think that's what it's called. Then turns back on and works with the Ethernet cable for a few minutes... I have tried known good cables, and this has happened on 2 different computers with different motherboards, RAM, CPUs, and GPUs. Windows has been reinstalled between these two systems and all Ethernet ports work on the router with my computer. Running Windows 11 25H2 and using a Cat 8 cable.

I'm not sure if it's the router either? As I have tried all of the different ports with my computer, and it has been fine, but not that specific cable.

Power button / LED connectors usually plug into the F_PANEL header located in the lower right corner of your motherboard. Your motherboard user manual will have instructions on this. Same for USB header connections.
