late to answer, but no, not an issue. EXPO vs XMP is mostly about more detailed timings and optimized timings existing for AMD platform with EXPO modules. Worst case scenario you won't have it that easy to get to official timings without finetuning, or you will run at a lower clock for a while

also with current RAM market, do you want to risk returning the RAM and then paying extra because the price gone up in meantime?

This drive will be mostly used for a lot of reads during model loading and of course write when i have to download the model. Does DRAM matter a lot in read? I've read that since the drive doesn't have DRAM it will use the RAM to store temporary data. Could this affect the RAM total capacity at model load time?

I currently use VoiceMeeter Banana, and have all my settings correct. I unironically prefer the "chat" setting with these settings under the equalizer more than game simply cause it sounds better and what im used too.
