i was just worried considering what usb c packs, the connector itself is metal and hosts data pins so 250w dc sounds like a lot that could go wrong

Physically there is no issue with pushing 60v 8a through the cable and connectors continuously, its just not approved in regulation. It also just straight up isnt safe.
