For me macos is a laptop os, not a desktop one. I still use Windows on PC, it has its own quirks and while it's decent for gaming, it's shit for development. Linux promises the best of both worlds but we'll see.

Saphire move into the motherboard market is confusing. You don’t need the PCIe 5 bandwidth in all honesty. Any important bios updates you can almost guarantee will take longer for sapphire to do

They seem like solid boards but I’d wait until next gen to see if sapphire will stick around with motherboards and how they progress myself

I mean you might need Gen 5 for something really specific. But for 90% of users, probably not.
I would agree. B850 is a stronger chipset, but as with PCIe 5 you probably won't use most of its features unless you have something specific you're trying to do. For just basic gaming, I would also go the eagle unless they're like really closely priced or something.
