its the way the USB dongle is set up. also you got a noname brand. could also be that. its mostly the way they communicate. PCIe is a direct connection, via USB it first has to go through the USB controller, then to the CPU, which WILL give you lag.

Hello, I’m hoping anyone could help me with a CPU overheating issue I’ve been struggling with. My CPU temperatures rise very quickly after booting into BIOS. I’ve tried everything but haven’t been able to solve it yet. I would really appreciate any guidance or ideas you might have.

Things I’ve already tried:
Removed and reinstalled the AIO cooler to make sure there was plastic protective film left on the cold plate | Reapplied thermal paste and made sure there was even, firm mounting pressure across all corners | Plugged the Lian Li radiator fans into CPU_FAN header as suggested by the BIOS | Checked airflow direction through the radiator
