Two things that piss me off about dcs:
missiles go for pilots of the planes (if they see the plane) because it makes missile targeting simpler to simulate (meaning 100 missiles in the air doesn’t crash everyones game)
And notching works WAY too effectively compared to real world radar (and doesn’t work in some situations it should)

Except for notching, missile proximity fuses, and missile targeting

It’s far too easy to notch in dcs - it’s much harder in the real world radars aren’t as easy to fool - plus your RWR in eagle dynamics models specifically is always TOO accurate and gives you too much information on the exact position of a radar source

Radar guided fox 3 missiles in multiplayer will always track the pilot and target the pilot, not the airframe - this almost never causes any issues or inaccuracies, this is just a nitpick for me

Multiplayer, proximity fuses aren’t a thing - in real life a missile will usually (most missiles) explode before it impacts you - in dcs the missile has to strike your aircraft to explode
