Most of the time this just happens if you got a slower CPU or GPU, especially SSD but a reboot could solve this if your hardware is newer

Well just cause it runs what you play doesn't mean that it might not hit a hitch, if something is going on in the background on windows or you enter an intensive area

Winter gives me good idle and load temps. Basically the GPU never goes above 50°C with like 37% fan speed and CPU Sometimes goes to 60 but rarely.

this is why i reccomended seeing what happens when you turn down render distance in mc for example. this could help narrow down the issue if it goes away. Is this a USB-C laptop charger, or a proprietary one for a specific manufacturer? If it's USB-C, try seeing if it will power another USB-C device. If it won't or it's a manufacturer specific charger and the light on the charger doesn't light when plugged into AC power, the charger is likely dead.

110% don't use a third party knockoff. You can, but the laptop's BIOS may either thrown a giant WARNING NOT LEGIT CHARGER message, or may refuse to charge at all. Some HP / Dell systems allow the use of third party chargers, albeit with a warning. Most systems that need more than 90w (or 130w) tend to demand a legit charger.

here's a workaround that might help someone:

1. Create a folder somewhere convenient - its contents will be put onto ramdisk every boot. I chose Documents\_Ramdisk.
2. Open PowerShell as Admin and copy over the folder preserving permissions: Robocopy.exe C:\Windows\System32\AMD\EeuDumps C:\Users\me\Documents\_Ramdisk\EeuDumps /copy:DATSO /secfix /e /b
3. Navigate to C:\Users\me\Documents\_Ramdisk\EeuDumps and clear out older files.
4. Go to Start and search for Services (or Win+R services.msc), stop AMD External Events Utility service.
5. Rename C:\Windows\System32\AMD\EeuDumps to C:\Windows\System32\AMD\EeuDumps~
6. Install ImDisk, open the RamDisk Configuration tool and create a 64-128M Ramdisk, tick Launch at Windows Startup, uncheck Create TEMP folder.
7. Go to Data tab and put the path to your skeleton directory into Load content from image file or folder: C:\Users\me\Documents\_Ramdisk
8. Hit OK, let it nuke and recreate the disk. This should create a disk R: with EeuDumps folder in it.
9. Create the symlink: New-Item -ItemType Junction -Path "C:\Windows\System32\AMD\EeuDumps" -Target "R:\EeuDumps"
10. Restart the AMD External Events Utility service.

Reverting is simple:

1. Go to Start and search for Services (or Win+R services.msc), stop AMD External Events Utility service.
2. Delete the link (C:\Windows\System32\AMD\EeuDumps).
3. Rename C:\Windows\System32\AMD\EeuDumps~ back to C:\Windows\System32\AMD\EeuDumps
4. Restart the AMD External Events Utility service.

if youre doing a fresh windows install might as well do a fresh game install, some game files arent stored in the same game folder and could cause issues if you dont transfer them

after that, install new windows to the 512GB, boot into the 512GB, from there you can go to disk manager and delete the windows partitions on the 1TB drive

none. Laptop coolers do not work in general, as they at best can give it a bit more cool air (by elevating it from the desk), but that doesn't change the cooling of the laptop itself, as that is determined by the heatsinks and internal fans blowing through those heatsinks.

It's like if you would put a desk fan in front of your desktop PC. Yes, it throws a bit of airflow towards the computer case, but it does barely anything for the thermals, as they are determined by the heatsinks on your CPU and GPU
