I'm currently using an MPG321UX monitor. 4K OLED, 240hz. Image quality is great, but holy hell I am fucking sick of "MSI OLED Care: Panel Protect" deciding that my monitor needs to turn itself off for 7 minutes every fucking day. I cannot tell you how many times I've had to finish whatever I'm in the middle of through fucking OBS on a second monitor, and whoever suggested I buy this thing and told me to disregard the panel protect shit for being a non-issue can fuck off entirely.

That being said, I need a replacement. I'm in the US. What's the minimum amount of money I'd need to spend to get a monitor that's as similar to this as possible, just without that damn panel protect stuff built into the firmware? Assuming I sell this monitor, of course.

I have just assembled my new PC with the following components:
• Motherboard: Gigabyte X870 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE
• CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
• RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 DDR5 6000MHz CL30 (2x16GB)
• GPU: RTX 5090
• PSU: Be Quiet! Straight Power 12 1200W

When I try to power on the system, the debug LED on the motherboard cycles through many POST codes (15, 36, 46, 88, 99, etc.) and then sometimes shuts down. I don’t get any display output.

I already tried:
• Clearing CMOS
• Testing with one RAM stick in slot A2 and B2
• Reseating the CPU and GPU
• Checking all power connections

Could this be related to BIOS compatibility with the Ryzen 9000 series or DDR5 memory training?
Should I update the BIOS using Q-Flash Plus, and if so, which file version do you recommend?

My windows is probably going to reset from all the component changes but that’s fine, but also will I actually notice any difference that’s worth swapping it out for? usually the "general path" teaches Python, basic algorithms, and some advanced concepts

In general, all CS programs start with the same courses (usually an introductory Python/Java/C++ course, then a data structures course, then some other ones on programming paradigms, etc), it's in the second year of the program they start doing different things. If you take the "BSc Computer Science" program, they usually let you choose your specialization somewhere after the first year., kind of like a skill tree
