i currently got a ryzen 5 5600x with a 5070 and i experience quite some lag most of the times because my cpu sits at 95%-100% usage all the time when i play a game. (threads are (almost) maxed out most of the time)
i also do some productive work on the side that is quite demanding on the cpu but that usually works out. (but a upgrade would be nice to get work done faster)

I wanted to upgrade to a 5800x3D or 5700x3D but these cpus are not sold anymore, i searched on 2ndhand places and i cant find any at all
then my other option was to upgrade to a ryzen 9 5950x but multiple people tell me that going for that is a very bad idea for the reason that it will not fix my issue
