The video above was the norm for a good chunk of my cousins on my dad's side. As for what it was for myself back in Syria, well..... During the 90s - early 2000s Damascus was a fairly large gaming hub as lan parties in the gaming cafes with PCs were common. I did attend some in my early years but for me and lots, it was the closest thing to touching a PC we got as consoles were very rare. This is why I don’t recommend purchasing Radeon 5000 or 6000 cards despite how good their performance is. AMD decided to cheap out all RDNA 1/2/3 series cards and took away most of the computation (matrix) unit (CDNA) and made them effectively only good for rasterization. In the same time, NVIDIA kept the computation (datacenter) unit on their graphics card, aka the tensor cores, which made nvidia cards much stronger at interference, upsampling and frame generation than RDNA 1/2/3. please realize, as a profit driven company, AMD doesn’t care about you at all, and all they want is just profit, through means of whether or not hurting the consumers. While NVIDIA still actively maintains rtx 30 series, AMD already made announcements ditching their counterparts, without even getting the drivers on par in terms of performance with NVIDIA. Shitty companies will always do shitty practice, and when AMD introduces UDNA, RDNA3 will be ditched as soon as possible as it’s totally a completely different architecture. RDNA4 will stay a bit longer as it resembles the next gen UDNA, however don’t expect anything from a shitty company AMD, and they will not deliver anything. Don’t ever expect them getting the drivers good before totally abandoning you. If you are someone who pays some level of respects to yourself, avoid AMD graphics cards PLEASE, and go nvidia.

The release was said to be this year (https://nas.ugreen.com/pages/ugreen-ai-nas-feature-introduction), now a few days ago there was an update email regarding the UGREEN AI NAS Timeline (attached as screenshot, received on 28.10.2025), so far so good. I dont mind the extra wait and furthermore a free UPS would be awesome. The same announcement was sent into their discord by an employee (original statement is also attached as screenshot).

Now the weird part starts: I think on the 29.10 or the 30.10 the announcement was quietly deleted from their discord. It was reposted by an Discord Admin (not employee of UGREEN on the 30.10.2025 in the evening) because he felt like the people on the discord should have the same information and it was not communicated to him why it was deleted. It was then deleted again at point in the night of the 30.10.2025 to the 31.10.2025. And today a new statement by the employee was posted (attached as screenshot as well) with the parts about the extended warranty and UPS completely removed. After being asked about why the UPS is missing from the new discord announcement it was said "We will devise alternative compensation plans.". Whatever this means.

As I said in the beginning: I dont mind the extra wait. I was really excited about the announcement and the option to receive extra warranty and a free UPS (This was not only posted on discord by an employee that was to quick but sent out by "UGREEN NAS [e-mail]"). For me this just gives a really bad vibe and I feel if something was promised it must be delivered.
