I have a really strange thunderbolt issue, maybe anyone has any idea what I could try to fix. Basically my dock disconnects from what I believe to be a power issue, as I've noticed it happens a lot when the cpu goes from idle to a high power draw. Disabling aspm seems to have fixed (at least on linux, on windows no change) but that ofcourse shits the battery life. I did open the dock and it seems all the components are intact( i was looking for things like bad soldering).

I had a 2025 R1S, swapped for a 2025 R1T. NACS, CCS... doesn't matter to me. I wanted 2025 because I have a CCS to NACS adapter. 2026 requires you to purchase an adapter and I dont think it comes with a portable charger.

Rivian is getting better but they still have some initial quality issues. my R1S was basically flawless. The only notable issue was the fancy roof thing had a cable that wasn't tucked into the headliner. It was not a big deal
