thats really specific. the closest thing i can think of out of the box would be using a PCIe U.2 HBA card with a U.2 SSD, they are not too pricey on the 2nd hand market (and as they are enterprise, tend to have extremely high write durability). then you can use a U.2 connector cable (those can be up to 1.5m long), have far higher speed than SATA and its still a somewhat bulkier 2.5" format, so you can easily get a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter cage

Considering ASUS were making hardware and GPUs well before EVGA they were never going to be the next EVGA. Also the way Nvidia handled EVGA over years was shocking. They treated them like dirt. For all of ASUS faults with customer services, hardware hot fixes or whatever. If they became like EVGA, you wouldn’t have as good an ASUS GPU as you have now in the Astral.

EVGA bit back at Nvidia, ASUS don’t - subsequently they do get preferential treatment with Nvidia and are able to make the best GPUs
