I don't think so but it could have been. I went through hell going through updators and windows USBs to get it to update then somehow I found out that it was the fact that SOMEHOW the bios had TPM and secure boot disabled. Fixed that and did a reinstall (from settings not a USB stick) of windows and that fixed it enough to let me download the update that I then used to update the PC and we are here now.

Reliability won’t be there but you’ll get decent enough performance to do what you want for a fraction of the price
