Hello, Im looking for a ultimate TV experience, as of this moment im tied between the following;

Sony A95L 77 inch

Sony Bravia 9 85 inch

Samsung S95F 83 inch

LG G5 83 inch.

I currently have a 55 inch A80K sony oled which we are moving to the bedroom however were moving to a bigger space; (900 sq ft to 1600sq ft place). The living room is about double the previous size and im wanting to maximize size/quality. I love oled and there is no direct sunlight going to hit the TV however there are large windows on the side of the room (one side) with decent blinds.

I am partial to OLED and Sony processing however the bravia 9 I hear is just as good as OLED however I dont have experience with this. While Samsung is a big question mark; I have a QD Oled pc monitor and ADORE IT but the lack of dolby vision makes me.....uneasy, which is why the A95L is also in consideration but would someone really notice the difference between an 83 inch and 77 inch?

Any input would be lovely and for sound this will most likely be paired with a Sony quad setup or a sonos full set up (unfortunately the SO really doesn't want large atmos home theater speakers which is a fair compromise in my book).

This will all be connected to a Apple TV and a Playstation 5 and/or a PC with a 5090 however gaming isnt the main focus; the main focus is theater.

Sounds Gouda. To be clear, definitely ask questions here! But first try to find out what you want in a TV so you can ask questions relevant to your needs. For example, when we needed to replace our aging dumb TV, I knew I wanted a mid-tier 4K panel running Google Android TV without any crazy bells or whistles. I also wanted a TV with a sane remote control, and not Samsung or LG because using both their SmartTV OS's fills me with pain and suffering.

While nothing is perfect, we also are a Sony TV household because I believe they offer the best bang for buck when it comes to the picture they deliver and features offered by their Google Android TV based operating system. I am not privy to Dolby this or Atmos that because I honestly cannot keep up with all the technical requirements nor deal with their marketing cruft. Just give me a TV that looks good and works without getting in my way.

Of all LGs TVs, their C series is the only one I would recommend, but only if you can also acquire their service remote control so you actually own the device. (Service remote lets you make changes to a bunch of locked / hidden settings. Many are useless, but some I recall are useful to the consumer.) Remember, folks; if you can't access the hidden service menus, you don't really own the device.

your monitoring software is causing it to report 1.45V "at idle", it is not actually at that voltage for whole time. Your monitoring software polls various curcuits about their stats, that causes some CPU load, which means CPU for few microseconds spikes to full clock to perform that task, causes it to jump to 1.45V for a little moment, and that is what monitoring tool reports to you.

Well, with the two USB 3.0 drives I was testing (both formatted as FAT32), I got three blinks, then the LED stayed lit—an indication the process did not succeed.

So I finally tried again with the USB 2.0 drive, and lo and behold, the thing finally worked—and now in BIOS I have options for setting the AMD Eco modes for lower TDP/energy consumption at basically the same performance.

mechanically: the switch is spring loaded, so when you stop pressing it, it breaks the curcuit.
electrically: the switch is just a signal for an always-on part of the board, which interprets the pins shorted by the button to either power on the PC (if it is off) or if it is on, it sends an ACPI power off signal to the OS (if the press is shorter than 4 seconds) or powers off PC hard (if the press is longer than 4 seconds)

ATX PSU provides +5V Standby power for that functionality, it is used to power the USB connectors when system is powered off (so you can wake PC with mouse/keyboard) and obviously for functionality like powering on the system

surveilance vs NAS vs normal is usually different only in two things - 'green' drives have aggressive sleep defaults, and NAS/surveilance have different error recovery settings compared to normal drives, where reading/writing can take whatever time, versus limited error recovery on NAS & surveilance drives.

Guys is an i7 9700 16GB ram pc better than an i5 10500 8GB ram pc both with a 256GB SSD? I’m not sure what I’m going to use it was yet, either a NVR for my security cameras or multiple gaming client bots or video editing or all the above.
But the i5 is $200 USD & i7 is $300 USD, I’m not sure if those prices are worth it for a refurb

Again very little difference for IPC between the two. They are generally considered interchangeable in terms of performance. I5 to I5 is basically identical or within 2-3%

So an i7 12th gen will almost always be better than the i5 13th gen
