The kind of goldish color is the plate but if you can see it through the plastic that's the problem

@dull zinc bad sectors == dying drive. Don't try to repair it, back it up immediately and get a new drive

if the firmware has already reallocated the maximum amount of sectors you should replace, at least back up anything important
