Cooler makers can just... Adapt what they have really. The stuff they already put out are mostly already good enough or goated as is, so tweaking shouldn't be that difficult for them to accomplish.

I dont care what Corp makes my CPU. I want to Upgrade to the 265K. It kicks the butts of 7800X3D and 9800X3D in Gaming and has much more Multicore while even costing LESS (280€ for the 265K here in germany, 350€ 7800X3D, 460€ 9800X3D)

Look at the Test from PC Games Hardware on the 265K with 200S Boost and decent fast memory. Its insane Price/Performance. Tho it needs to be mentioned that the 265K does sip more Power. But are you really buying a 1400+€ PC to COmplain about like 10-30€ more Power Costs per Year?

I found that most tests sadly dont use fast RAM and the 200S Boost option. Its a mighty boost. You do NOT need to tweak a 265K much or even at all besides switching the 200S Boost on to make it sit between the 7800X3D and the 9800X3D.

I would like to see more Tests with 7200+ RAM and 200S Boost enabled vs bos X3D with and without PBO.

The 200S Boost Update came in April. Much later than the initial Release. Basically no one knows about it. So everyone just sees the Launch Tests and that they were really bad. So theyre not buying anything from Intel right now

What causes the shutdown? No idea. I've never had success using Event Viewer to make sense of most error messages / blue screens / program crashes. Sometimes you get lucky and the error details has useful info. Most of the time it just says "this happened, here's some cryptic info, good luck!"

Confusing placements of options, some are even hidden like MCR and 1T Option. Also on failed OC it deletes your PBO Settings and a few Memory settings which freaked me out. Other Boards retain the settings even on OC fail so you can just adjust it when needed

But tbh once you set everything up and saved it you dont need to do it anymore

the CPU manufacturer doesnt matter for the GPU as long as the CPU can handle the GPU. 3080 Should be fine with AM5 and a 7500F or higher

ALso it doesnt matter if 7500F/7600/7600X. They just have a slight clockspeed bump over each other.

7600 is worth like 10 Bucks more than a 7500F and the 7600X should be another 10 bucks more. Dont pay more for these. Get 7500F and switch on PBO +200MHz then there shouldnt be a Performance difference betwee the 7500f and 7600X

Eh its a Myth. Depends with what you start. If you buy a 9800X3D or a intel 265K you can use that CPU for like 5-7 Years before you need to upgrade. Until the Intel as well as AMD have new CPUs and Sockets. Situation then will be like now with AM4: If you are running a 2700X with 16GB RAM and a somewhat bad B450 Board, you will need to upgrade everything either Way. Then you will be buying a 5700X3D, 32GB RAM and a new Mainboard. And thats not good, even a 7500F is outrunning a 5700X3D. And it costs way less (120€ vs 300€).

So your Upgradepath is not an Argument anymore.

The Games need to take advantage of the X3D Cache or else even a 5600 can outrun a 5700X3D because it has more clockspeed
