also take a look around if there aren't cheap 9-10th gen 8-10 core systems

also look around if there are no used X99 boards from reputable manufacturers sold at your place

chinese X99 boards notoriously have various issues. Starting from some being only dual channel (which would be brutal for you vs quad channel), having sleep/USB issues and so on.

my personal favorite from china boards is X99-K9 from Machinist, which while not perfect, at least has quad channel RAM. But the bundle with it costs like 3 times more 😄
