I plugged in broken SSD, decrypted bitlocker, now its showing the abouve screen shots asking me to format it. I want the files stored on Broken SSD. Will formatting Broken SSD remove the data on it?

I'll think about it, but I'll admit I am biased towards the smaller itx cases even with the itx tax it entails. The other cases you listed are at least double the volume. I understand they might have the same footprint, but I want this to be able to sit in a media console for a tv, or not be something I could easily topple over when on my desk.

the extra size is mostly in height and the floor space it takes isnt actually that much bigger, less than 2 inches wider
