I eventually got my NAS server working and backing up my parents M1 macbook air but I came back after a few hours and it still said 17 hours left to backup and I can't just be taking nearly 24 hours to backup.

I don't know if its the laptop just being slow to backup 1TB of data (I hope not its an M1 air) the fact that its plugged into some WiFi booster and not the real router itself, if its the fact that I only have a 1 gigabyte connection on the motherboard or if its the fact that I never did setup the SSD cache for the NAS.

Regardless whatever the reason I need to figure out why its taking so long to backup and how I do that? I was going to backup once a day but not if it takes this long.
