Hello everyone i have been wondering between an Asus zenbook s16 Ryzen Ai 9 365 with 24gb for €1400 or a macbook air 15" M4 24gb for €1650. you need to disable system integrity protection. most of, if not all of those apps are needed for other processes in the os so it's not a good idea. best route is to just throw all the apps in a folder and go to spotlight settings and disable results for them

hey yall i dont like reaching out to discord servers for information of personal choices but i am kinda in a rush to build a new system. In the end (i plan to have a system with a ryzen 7 7800x3d (i plan to upgrade to maybe a ryzen 9 down the road or a better ryzen 7) i want to probably get up to 128 GB of ram (i video edit alot plus games that are ram heavy). i plan to build a whole new system but right now mainly just need to buy a motherboard cooler cpu and ram. i have decided everything i need/want (using pcpartpicker and some research and forums) except a Motherboard. theres so many choices and with my semi-strict needs i thought id reach out for advice.

Heres a list of my needs

1. AM5
2. Atleast 128 GB ram support (maybe more but i doubt ill need anything over 128 GB)
3. Preferably 2 PCIe x16 slots. (i run a dual GPU setup rx 5700 xt and a gtx 1050ti for vm gpu passthrough as i use Linux as a daily driver most of the time)
4. atleast 3 NVMe Slots (all 3 on my board are full) and probably 4 to 6 SATA ports. (i have a alot of sata drives as well...)
5. any color works i really dont mind though my current case is black so maybe a darker board? RGB i really dont care about i dont plan to have ALOT of rgb but some on the board is fine (worst case i can probably turn the colors off in software)
6. i NEED atleast 8 USB ports (no less then 3 USB 3 ports and USB 2 is fine for some of my hardware like my flight sim stick throttle and g920 wheel i always have plugged in to act as rudders in flight simulator)
7. needs to be able to fit in my Corsair 4000d Airflow case (though i imagine most boards would.)
   other then that i dont really mind other choices other then maybe brand. right now im on a system that has a Asus Tuf z590 board. also i will be using an AIO if that needs to be known

I will keep doing research on my own but any advice or opinions will be greatly appreciated.
