you can get more performance out of that rx 470 with a 3000/5000 series ryzen than you would with a 1000 series ryzen, and that artifacting could be due to heat affecting the vram which can mean the pads and paste needs redoing

ok so here is the list of the issues the previous owner said the laptop had

I think the speakers are blown, as the sound sounds strange and crackly for a while after use
(driver issue due to some random shitty driver deciding to step in and fuck with the audio but not letting it install after a driver reinstall fixed the issue and the speakers sound AMAZING)

• the fan starts making a strange, low vibrating sound after a while of use
  (no clue what they mean the fan is fine and have had zero issues does not even make any real noise)

• the webcam button does not work after the PC was repaired and the screen was replaced. The webcam is therefore constantly visible.
  (repair shop managed to break off the button but i need to solder on a new one at some point)

• the rubber under the laptop that is supposed to provide grip on surfaces has fallen off
  ( yup missing those but 10$ and a few weeks and im getting some)

Okay so I currently have an RTX 3060 12GB which goes for around £250 on amazon, bought it for £300, I am wanting to upgrade around the same price but a 5070 12GB is £500, and they don't make 12GB 5060s. or I could go AMD idk much I had an RX5500XT, I don't know much about the newer gen amd cards I just know that amd can be cheaper.
