ARGB is the same, you plug it into the motherboard then there is a cover on the end of the male socket, you take that off and plug the other fans into that also, you can use no more than 5 argb devices on this

Hi peeps. I friend of mine built his first pc and he's using the Phanteks D30-120 fans with a Phanteks Nv7 case with a Asus Motherboard. He says he can't get that fans to be detected by rgb software. Is there a solution for this?

Depends on a model, you have to dump your bios, disable bios integrity protection flags (if necessary), patch bios and re-flash it back. And keep original dump in case if you f'd up.

No, don’t hack the BIOS and add back options. There’s almost nothing to gain from it anyway. Maybe some extremely light clock chances or voltage tweaks, usually not enough to make much difference. Sometimes you can squeeze a little more boost out of it with an undervolt. You have to remember that the platform is deadlocked on power draw… so it’s only marginally worth the trouble.

Old laptops and highly dogshit ones it is sometimes worth the risk.
