ok dumb dumb me need help, I'm rocking a core ultra 9 285k on my work pc and I have a relatively older nzxt kraken 360 AIO

under an all-core load (like recalculating a few million fields in Excel via multithreading) i'm thermal throttling at 95C

idle temps are in the 40s-50s, and I'm 100% positive the thermal paste application is good and there's no plastic between the block and the CPU

is it possible too much liquid has evaporated from the AIO and it's not cooling enough? this is relatively old, I got it with my TR 2950X back when those were new so it's like 7 years old at this point (which is a wild concept to think about right now)

24/48GB capacities are 2DPC so electrically are two channel per slot
