Looking for a little help. Not sure what to do. ASUS 470x prime mobo. GeForce rtx 2080 super. Have two identical builds. One of the GPU temps seem to go up to around 130ish and the monitors go out. I understand that, GPU is too hot. GPU Drivers updated on both systems. Bios updated as well.

My wife’s pc is the one where the gpu gets to hot. Weird part is, when I put my 2080 super in hers it does it as well. Looking under the card it appears the fans aren’t spinning. Leading me to believe it’s another component. Motherboard?

Yes, when I take my wife’s 2080 super and put it in my PC the monitors do not go dark at any point. The temperature stay cool and consistent.

Hey, I don't know if anyone will know anything about this but I was watching Andor season 2 with my family using my PC hooked up to the TV and found that there was a lot of juddering in random places in the show, like slow planning scenes were very jarring. 1. How harmful is it to turn the PC on and off each time I need to use it? Could this cause the hard drives to wear out faster or increase the risk of file or storage issues?
2. Is it better to use two identical hard drives in a RAID 1 setup, or should I use two different models to reduce the risk of both failing at the same time?

rufus is a fine utility that makes it so you dont have to do some command prompt crap while setting up the OS to allow for a local account still as it no longer is an option able to be selected by the gui as microsoft tries to force using their account

That should run Windows 11 no problem. If the installer threw an error saying "not compatible" then it's likely either TPM was off, OR it was using CSM/Legacy Boot instead of UEFI boot.
