so i have been having a slight problem with my rx 570 since i got it (im lending it from a friend). the card doesnt report temps, thus making the fans not spin. i did roll back the divers, and no difference. but funny thing is that yesterday i got windows 11 finally, and on the generic drivers the fans spun. i didnt look at the temps then, but the fans did spin. so i have identified the problem as AMD's drivers

I spilled like 50-100 ml water on my laptop. kinda immediately shut down and unplugged and put it keyboard and screen facing down. Then I tried to open up like the 10 screwes on the back with rubber thingies on top. In the process of doing that I accidentally hit power on twice cause it's on the bloody keyboard but immediately used the power button to force shut down. It's currently open,battery connecter disconnected. On 8 coins 4 on each side to raise the laptop a little and face down trying to dry.

What more can I do and should I try to remove the battery(this is my first time opening a laptop)

How many days should I leave it for. When I spilled it seemed to be working for the 10 seconds I had it on before I shut it down. Same for the 5 seconds of mid boot before I forced shutdown when it tried to boot after i accidentally pressed power on when opening it

If it doesn't charge to full, you should take it to a repair shop and they'll probably fix it within the next day or two

I wouldnt expect you to be confident in unscrewing the bottom panel, then unplugging and replugging the battery cable into the header
