Uh so I installed Windows on my hard drive and now all of my steam games are working properly. That means either that I didn't properly clear the faulty Nvidia driver when reverting to a previous version or that my SSD is defective and I need a warranty. Considering that a lot of my errors seemed to be memory related, I think the problem is the SSD because everything is working now. Like I couldn't enable XMP to get to 3200MHZ without the system crashing on boot but now I can even run Doom the Dark Ages which is known for crashing. Also, before some of my errors were saying something like didn't write properly to memory. So I guess I'll be on my 7200rpm HDD for now, which is fine. I don't mind it much. I'm just happy to have my computer working again. I haven't been able to play computer games for over a month because I was too angry to troubleshoot properly.

I might be able to get my hands on a bunch of decommissioned enterprise server hardware, and ive always thought of having a NAS at home, however, the money ain’t there 😅 is there a way to use SAN servers easily or any of the storage racks for a NAS? With SAS drives. Would it just make it harder than to buy SATA drives and get something else going as a NAS? We’re talking like 3k of storage, so quite a lot.
