that’s why i like putty, it can be used basicly anyhere, your biggest worry is bondline thickness for laptops for example if you have like <0.5mm gap, some putties tend to dry a bit fast (some pads too) and that’s about it

my gpu is very rarely at full util
i was jus playing far cry 6 and my gpu was at 75% util and my cpu was at 70%
i was running 120fps but everytime i looked around i waould have stutters of 1% lows of 15fps every time i pan around decently quickly

Most of my recent bsods have happened when trying to multi-task while running stable diffusion locally. I use an amd graphics card, rx 6700 xt, on windows. Getting stable diffusion to run on amd on windows is highly experimental as is. There are quite a few variables that can cause a bsod in this situation. The fact that bsods happen at all doesn't alarm me nearly as much as that they don't automatically clear and that they have visual artifacts when they do happen. Yes, ideally they'd never happen. But this is the real world, not an utopia. Sometimes it just kicks you in the unspeakables and there's nothing you can do to prevent it.

I recently got a 4k 240hz monitor as part of my setup upgrade. I'm debating between getting a used 7900xtx for 600€ or a new 9070xt for 720€.
Considering I don't play many games that support fsr, want to play at 4k resolution, and will get a 9800x3d with 64gb ddr5, which one would make the most sense?

Best to just look for trusted gaming benchmarks, like from hwub or something. But it's kind of hard to compete with 3D V-cache tech for gaming

So more cache, whether 3D V-cache or not, means better for gaming

the battery life sucks, it's loud, thick, hot, heavy... all of which a macbook isnt
