So long as your license was legitimately activated and is a Retail license, it should be tied to the hardware. One nice thing about Retail licenses is if you logged into a Microsoft account (instead of just a local account), you can easily re-activate the license on new hardware anyway, as this is allowed for Retail licenses.

Depends on what you consider bloatware. In my experience, most of the "bloat" just sits idle unless you actually need to use it. And most of it can be easily removed without using scripts from random places on the internet, many of which can leave your system in a broken state if you don't know what you're doing.

I will say that ALT-Tabbing on Windows 11, and running games either Windowed or Borderless Windowed (which I do all the time) also feels smoother than Windows 10, however that may also be due to building a new PC when I upgraded to Windows 11 back in Fall 2022. I do not notice input delay anymore than I didn't notice on Windows 10.

How so? I just shutdown (gracefully or otherwise), then mash F2 / F10 / F12 (depending on the manufacturer) during boot. Same speed as all prior hardware / operating systems.

But if you’re on a tight budget, 1070 or 1060 (6gb)

Or if you want amd, rx 580/rx570
