Oh fun, a newbie lol. So doing raid can add redundancy and or peformance by combining all ur drives that you select. There are several types with some making drives copy the data from another drive which will help keep ur data safe when a drive fails, some drives backing up data which will also help keep ur data safe when a drive fails and some will do what's called a stripe which will combine the drives for peformance and capacity over protection, each type has their drawbacks like some will reduce overall capacity, or speed, or remove redundancy

Awsome, if your motherboard does not support enough drives that you want, you can buy what's called a "HBA" (Host bus adaptor) which will increase the amount of drives you can run but it does take up a pcie slot. If you dont know what that is, your graphics card uses a pcie slot

Can someone help me with my pc. PC boot loop after cleaning — need help.
I have an i7-3770 with a GA-B75M-D3H board. After cleaning the PC and reapplying thermal paste, the cooler lifted the CPU and bent one socket pin slightly. I straightened it, reinstalled everything (no GPU, just using integrated graphics), and cleared CMOS. Now the PC turns on for 2 seconds, shuts off, and loops. 24-pin and 8-pin power are connected. Any ideas?
