Yeah that is what played into my decision making. The 9950X3D performs roughly on par with the 9800X3D for gaming, although a little worse in some games. Similar gaming performance while using more power and getting way hotter.

I would say either its an glitch/error or maybe a 1440p display is 2560 by 1440, but your display specifically has 2680 by 1441 meaning you have slightly more pixels meaning the monitor you got was shipped with a little bit more pixels as everything isn't exact and sometimes companies ship out monitors with less or more pixels slightly. This is just me guessing but it probably wont really affect you as an extra 100 pixels is hard to tell the difference of.
