After a brief choice paralysis when asked to name the computer by Windows installer windows is cooking and I'm left to consider the problem that I don't get a display output when I use my shiny new Display Port cable in any of the ports only with my HDMI.

Gotta figure out if that cable is just bad.

I don't think I have anything else that outputs display port though

The GPU only has 1HDMI and 3DP and my monitor has one of each but I think I'll be needing that HDMI on the graphics card to go to the new display tablet I'm getting soon so the monitor needs to run DP.

I bought one just for this because everything else I have runs HDMI

Idk it's a fat cable. maybe I broke it jamming it into my monitor arm channel with the existing HDMI and power.

Hey, quick question, if anyone knows the answer. Speccing a potential new motherboard and SSD. The PCI-E 5 Samsung 9100 with heatsink says its super slim at 0.35mm. Will it physically fit in a motherboard that already has s heatsink over the m.2 slot? Such as the ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO?
