i have a couple of problems regarding my prebuild gaming PC that is about 5y old.
The computer started to randomly turn off years ago(for whatever reason mostly when playing moded raft but not when playing games like btd6, war thunder, Fortnite or even hydroneer. so its probably not the reason for the problem ig.)but it turned right back on immediately. While thats weird enough, the problem im now experiencing is probably way worse: The pc just turned off and when it was turned back on again it showed "CPU Overheating" or smt like that on the screen. i then installed msi center to look at the CPU temp, it was 100°C on 1% load avrg. i suspected the pump of the AIO might be the cause of the problem but i cant really hear it do anything and dont remember to have ever heard it do anything. so what i did was go into the UEFI to look if my pump is rotating and to check if i can crank up pump speed and fan speeds. i found out that the pump was shown to be rotation(i know bc. it shows the rpm). after that i possibly encountered another problem: the supposed fan speeds can be set inside the UEFI menu but no matter what i set them to, the physical fan speeds dont change at all but only the sys fan can be changed in speed with physical effects. there are 3 6-pin RGB fans installed at the front of the case; their cables seem to lead to some kind of fan hub (why is the sata hdd also plugged into that?). The cable management back there where the fan hub is (behind the motherboard) is weird so i cant really see which cables go where. the fans i cant set the speed of are the 3 6-pin rgb fans hooked up to the fan hub, the cpu fan but also the pump. why?
i reapplied the 5y old thermal paste from a syringe that came with the pc but that didnt impact its cooling capability.
If i have to buy a new cooler, what would you recommend? air cooler is easiest? aio is hard to fill and needs special coolant?
(Btw. i know nothing about PC hardware so im prolly wrong in a lot of things i said)

the point of dual actuator is that half of the drive can have it's reading/writign head elsewhere than the other half. So no, no need for it to be less storage. You only got a bit more electronics and mechanics to control half of the heads

i mean let's say you got a disk with 8 platters. You can have one actuator driving all 8 heads, meaning all have to read the same spot. Or you can have 4+4, thus if the other data you need is on the bottom 4 platters, you can read at different spot than the upper 4 platters
