It is more the cable chosen not so much the GPU as far as I know. But yes, the 5070 hasn’t had reports of a pin getting angry.

The cables can be a bitch. I have been using bequiet PSUs with the gen5 or 4 or whatever the cable is called now - for many years. Never one fart of a problem.

my last 3 were Radeon HD 4870 (2008) -> Geforce GTX 680 (2012 I think) -> Geforce RTX 2080 (2018 I think)

Hey, if my wifi has been acting up where I’m not getting the speeds I used to, what are the possible causes for such behavior? My WiFi access point is literally in the room next to my pc and I used to get anywhere between mid 200 mbs to high 800 mbs. But now, I’m lucky if I get 100 mbs. Nothing has changed on my pc whatsoever. The only thing I can think of that is the issue is either my wifi module on the motherboard went bad and I need a new motherboard, or the antennas have gone bad for some reason. Would like some suggestions for possible causes. I’ve tried fixing it through windows with no success. Also not trying to spend a ton of money for a new motherboard. But any suggestions or recommendations would help a lot.

WiFi is by nature, a shared medium.
I might start with rebooting your wifi AP.
If it persists, snag a phone and download a wifi spectrum analyzer- change the wifi channels of your AP to the least-busy channels.

TL;DR: people have been reporting all kinds of weird stuttering, freezing, and outright crashing with driver versions since at least the launch of the 50 series cards, if not slightly before. This doesn't affect everyone or every system / GPU out there, but like... yeah, someone isn't QA testing well enough, and yet they want us forking over thousands of hard-earned dollars for 50 series cards. It's like buying a car missing plastic retention clips from the factory.
