uh, so hardware or physical connection would be for example rail and components, component A needs 1.5Volts to work, requires now 2Amps, software can control how much power component A receives by request for example, now there is component B which requires 3V but software part on the chip that controls power does not have the option (is not built and physically cannot) provide that many volts so component B will not run (extremely oversimplified)

we tried a 12 PIN FROM PSU to 12 PIN GPU,
We tried 1 8 pin PCIE FROM PSU to 2x (6+2 pin) with an adapter
We also tried 2 8 pin PCIE from psu to 6+2 pin with an adapter
None of the three combos worked

u would need a custom bios tweak

and whether its even possible idk

even the chinese didn’t do that so i doubt it’s worth it, mainly the reason why we don’t have such monstrosities to exist, running ddr3 on ddr5 makes just no sense, it is a compatibility nightmare and would likely atleast require a custom motherboard, not just modified bios, but actually built for that use case
