so I plan on buying a m.2 ssd. currently, I have an 512gb ssd with my windows installation and some games I often play and a 1tb hdd for random stuff and other games. I know that you would want windows on the m.2 ssd, so could I theoreticly just install windows on the m.2 and then plug the other ssd and the hdd back in to keep all the data from the old pc?

What I'm trying to achieve is a way to exploit a compression algorithm in a way that means I can send an audio file, the audio file is compressed once then once it is played wherever it is put, it sounds like it should. But if you try to recompress it, the compression algorithm trips over some sort of artifact and makes the entire file sound unintelligible from what it sounded like originally.
