no there's two types, one is vendor rma, in this case Ebuyer, you'd go to them and they'll sort it out for you, it's normally like 6 months from date of purchase, and another one is manufacturer RMA, which is the warranty from the manufacturer itself, i'd contact ebuyer first to see your options 🙂

Well, I finally came to a decision. Thanks everyone for their helpful advice. I basically couldn't decide so I said fuck it and bought a XFX RX 9070 XT Quicksilver. Which is so and completely overkill probably but if I going to spend a ton on a GPU, it might as well be the better one and then no buyer's remorse.

Bonus points, they had a sale on delivery so it was on £5 to guarantee before 12PM next day delivery for ParcelForce.

I’ve seen some 3080’s on marketplace at around 450 and it looks like they perform similar from benchmark tests. Should I go with the 3080 or does the vram make it a bad choice?

for most people i can confidently say 10gb is enough to have an enjoyable expeirence in most games

if youre playing some more modern games, they might want you to have 12gb or even 16gb

if you can find a good deal on a 3080TI they are pretty good and with 12gb

im at 3440x1440 with a 3070, all the games i play 8gb has been enough for me. unless youre playing really demanding stuff 10gb will do you great, make sure to look up specifics to the games that you play though
