Hey I need PC help asap, I just built a new rig with a Ryzen 7 9800x3d in it, everytime I run a program the cpu shoots up to high temps, my AIO is the Corsair Rgb elite h100, I have the AIO in the cpu opt header and the fans hooked up too.

The am4 and am5 bracket is cross compatiable right, same one will work that I’ve been using

I got the cable with the grey lines dotted in it hooked up to cpu opt and the solid black to cpu fans, is that my issue?

go into your bios, find whatever bullshit they call the fan curve menu, then set your pump (cpu_opt, probably) to like 90% at all temps, and do the same to your CPU_FAN but at a lower speed

so like 90% on the pump all the time and 40-60% on the cpu fans

meta way of doing it, makes it so your computer doesnt annoyingly change what noise its making
