I’m not saying you’re dumb for buying an Ali express watch, just that you probably shouldn’t. As someone who owns a couple quite nice watches in the $200-$500 price range you should definitely get a watch from a reputable brand if you want a quality piece that will last you. I prefer mechanical movements in my watches but the citizen eco drive is also good. I find watches like that to be extremely tacky and anyone who actually knows watches will be able to spot someone trying too hard a mile away by wearing that.

I’m not ever an advocate for buying counterfeit watches, however, there’s a reason why many more affordable watch brands have models inspired by luxury watches.

Something inspired by a patek phillipe sold on Ali express is gonna look tacky and bad because they simply can’t even make it look right at their price.

So I just found out that my pc case can actually hold a 40 series or 50 series GPU….this is the case I have https://phanteks.com/product/eclipse-p600s-tg-black/ and this local shop said I could actually fit newer GPU (currently have 3090) in the case. He said cables would touch glass but not be a problem….question is, when you have a PC case that isn’t large like a Lian Li case, are there any downsides? I am sure the case is well ventilated or is it recommended to get a PC case where you have excess space?

I have a pretty compact case (G.Skill LT1) with a 4070ti super. It’s the MSI expert model so it’s the same cooler as their 4080 super. Just over 300mm long. Cable slightly touches glass but not really a problems.

Better to have more airflow and usually bigger cases have room for more fans but I think you’d be fine. Might run hot but should be fine.

the only way a cooling system is not proper is if ur parts are performing worse than theyre supposed to bc they have to slow down to not overheat

You have atleast 2 or 3 intake fans on the front and an exhaust on the back. It would be moving the air along the card and it should be able to get in it's cold air and the exhaust should be able to kick out the gpu's air properly

Your case has 435mm of clearance for a graphics card. A 5090 astral has a length of 358mm according to TechPowerUp.

Basically you can theoretically put whatever you want in your case

Also my fan curves are less of curves and more like steps. I have it set to be like 40% fan speed under 50°C, 70% at 60°C, and 100% at anything over 70°c

Well, small form factor is a different animal. Most small form factor cases have the GPU on a riser with the fans up against a mesh side panel away from the rest of the components. Effectively bringing in completely fresh air for them. They basically make their own separate cooling zones by putting components up against mesh side panels.

This is why small form factor pc’s work. Because they pull fresh air directly into the GPU instead of having it share air with everything else

I can’t use a traditional bracket underneath the GPU because I have a capture card in the PCIE slot

I replaced my motherboard and it pushed my GPU down so now my old kickstand didn’t work.

Keep in mind that a 3090 performs about the same as a 4070ti in real world situations so if you want an upgrade worth getting you’re gonna wanna look at something 4080 or better to see meaningful performance increases
