boreal vine
#

that too

#

tiktok is like that as well

#

people have been coming up with the wildest bypass on there

#

ie making the thumbnail 18+

#

or have panels of an 18+ image as the video thumbnails

#

or put the image inside of a toggle filter, ie you only see it when you use a camera filter

languid surge

Is this normal? It's occt btw..

boreal vine

at some point stickers were also used for that

yeah that’s error

Yeah..... That's a lot

How do i explain this

i would say it gives you an idea how much the cards draw, i wouldn’t use it as reference

I laughed my ass off when google introduced a payment plan on yt that still involved ads... like bro if im going to pay anything at all; REMOVE ALL ADS

Anyone know how accurate user benchmark is? 100th percentile seems great but I doubt it’s anything special compared to other ocd 2600s

yeah… it would be nice if they let you opt out of ads i mean if you’re literally installing ad blockers to do that…

cosmic stratus

we have ad blockers so I couldnt care less

steel umbra
#

too many people use youtube for example and it’s one of the more reliable ways to get revenue from watching

#

smaller alternatives are just… not it. youtube is not yet that bad for smaller alternatives to take entirely over

#

and as we know some youtubers require youtub money for livin

gloomy sleet
#

it also helps that youtube doesn’t have restrictions of video size and quality outside of 32mb/s and 60fps

#

that makes it the gold standard for sharing videos too

steel umbra
#

smaller sites don’t provide that much of it… it would require for a lot of to switch or atleast use the site/service

gloomy sleet

Other way

you still need screws

devout oxide
grizzled frost

thin plover

almost everything uses pozidrive

it’s arguably more common then phillips on stuff

you can also use phillips and JIS screwdrivers on pozidrive screws

steel umbra

that’s why i hate pozidriv

gloomy sleet
steel umbra
gloomy sleet

steel umbra

that’s why i hate dealing up with them, if i don’t want to damage them i gotta get a pozidriv bit and that’s annoying

grizzled frost
#

i’ve never seen a posidriv screw or bit here in the US

thin plover
#

I've never heard of pozidrive before

#

Philips is still the standard here

gloomy sleet

i don’t even own a phillips drill bit in fact

it’s all PZ

latent pasture

poz turns philips better than philips

gloomy sleet
#

yeah lol

#

i can literally go around my house choose something with screws and 9 times out of 10 it will be using PZ

steel umbra
#

yes it turns better but wears the screw head

boreal vine
grizzled frost
#

i mean the point of philips is that it’s able to torque out instead of over torquing the screw

steel umbra
#

but yeah if philips slips out the place it damages more than when slipping in pozdriv into philips

#

but that’s skill issue

steel umbra
grizzled frost
#

posidriv is mostly a european thing

#

though globally it’s still less common than phillips

boreal vine
#

I would imagine that the subscription money is either shared to all users or depending on the viewer's channel viewing for that month

steel umbra
grizzled frost
#

i mean just look at the ltt screwdriver, it’s all phillips not pozidriv

latent pasture
#

bc its north america

#

pz is eu

steel umbra
#

pz is just awfully similar to philips and has similar cons to philips while being not compatible with philips if you don’t want to wear the slot

#

i just don’t like it

grizzled frost
#

phillips and pz both suck, torx and star are best

latent pasture
#

why isnt every screw just flatheads

steel umbra
#

ph is already a more widespread of use, why replace it with similarly mid screw head?

steel umbra
grizzled frost

flathead is somehow worse than anything else

gloomy sleet
grizzled frost

steel umbra

99% of stuff is philips from what i can tell on gpus, cases, vesa mounts, tables

gloomy sleet

grizzled frost

gloomy sleet
gloomy sleet

grizzled frost
gloomy sleet

even if you do get few loose connections on 6+2’s it will not be as catastrophical as 12vhpwr when that’s loosely connected

yeah but i'm not really getting the answers lol are those connectors good enough for 2x8 pin gpu, other than that i'll take the risk

maybe i got lucky because it's been grand since i bought it

it's about 4/5 years old now maybe?

i'm literally using it for house flipper and among us, i just need it to power the PSU without shutting off, it's not exploded as of yet

So turns out. This is an entire Acer prebuilt. It's a 500w PSU and an Acer RTX 3070 which is why I can't find much info about it. Now with a normal PSU can I plug in an 8 pin and a 6 pin to it. And it still works? I only see stuff with 8 pin without 6

the very big thing at super low power usage is PSU. That is the hill these ideas die on.
I mean, let's say you get a 450W 80Plus Platinum SFX PSU. Sounds cool, right ? Except 80Plus defines the efficiency only from 20% power usage. Which for 450W PSU is 90W. Under that, it is wild west. You might be getting 60, 70, 75, 80% efficiency, really anything
