the 6+2 does about 40% of what it’s capable, 12v-6x2 has like tolerance of 20% broadly, if we double the powah you’re getting to that tolerance limit, under poor conditions such as the pins making loose contact, the case being an oven, the gpu overclocked you may lose that tolerance and your 6+2 may melt
