As someone who's been around the block with technology a few times, I can wholly say this is false. It's not that <MANUFACTURER> does not know how to cool <THING>, it's that some product lineups / model series are designed poorly OR people try to use them for purposes they were never designed to be used for.

Dell's Latitude lineup are designed for everyday business use. If you want "gaming" or heavy performance, you would purchase a Vostro / Precision / G-Series / Alienware laptop, or another equivalent device from a different manufacturer. Not saying you can't game on a Latitude... but they're not designed for this.
