funny thing is, it's not like they're rare games, they're just some odd ones, it however does mean i can run some emulators to also play the likes of early playstation and xbox games if i liked

The issue isn’t someone who tries to maintain compatibility for old games especially from the pre internet era

It just comes down to new games with offline installers are quite rare -and even if they have them, modern games tend to have updates that add content and features and your fully offline version to do that you would need to burn patch discs - which totally was a thing before like 2014 but is also pretty rare now

My internet is more reliable than my electricity. I have a UPS on my homelab and another for my desk and I can work through power outages

(And I get power outages maybe 3x a year… heh)

i'd get a power outtage once in a blue moon tbf, and any time i have an issue i contact my isp where my internet is concerned and they're quick to fix it

Hi, i built my PC a week ago with all new parts except the GPU and CPU they are second hand. Everything works fine but i have an issue. On saturday i was playing DayZ and i got a random black screen. I couldnt Alt Tab or anything basically everything just shut off but the PC fans were still spinning and RGBs working. Yesterday it happened again. Please help.

The UPS isn’t really about surge protection (even though most have that feature too) it’s about giving you time to shut the system down cleanly

Or run for some period of time in some cases
